A readiness-aware food journey

First foods, with readiness, nutrients and sources in view.

First Bites keeps preparation guidance behind a corrected-age and five-sign readiness check. Food cards add evidence-linked nutrient context while keeping family-food examples separate from medical advice.

  • Twenty evidence-linked single-food examples and 24 cuisine-inspired family-food ideas—three in each of eight collections.
  • Nutrient highlights identify the food source and explain the nutrient’s general role.
  • Preparation and texture details stay locked until readiness is confirmed.
  • Future texture stages remain visible but age-locked.
  • Factual logging remains available at every age and is clearly marked as logging—not a recommendation.
  • Food records use the same optional iCloud and caregiver sync path as other care logs.

Food identity, nutrient context and general feeding guidance are traced to specific records from the CDC feeding guidance, CDC infant iron guidance, FDA, USDA WIC, and FoodSafety.gov. Food composition varies by variety and preparation. This is general education, not individualized medical advice.

Play and Learn activity with illustration, age range, instructions, and safety guidance

One useful idea for today

Play that meets them where they are.

Play & Learn suggests a short activity for your child’s developmental age, then explains what to use, why it helps, how to try it, and what to keep safe.

  • Age bands from newborn through 5 years, with explicit minimum ages.
  • Corrected age used for premature babies when gestational age is provided.
  • Fresh daily suggestions plus a browsable activity library.
  • Mark an idea done or use the existing activity timer; completion follows optional caregiver sync.

Play & Learn offers general activity ideas, not developmental screening or medical advice. Follow your child’s cues and talk with their clinician if you have concerns.

Milestones for every age

Notice the moment. Keep the context.

Lullalog shows an illustrated checklist matched to your child’s developmental age. Mark what you observe, keep the reached date, and open any milestone for a clear explanation and an everyday idea to try together.

  • Age bands from 2 months through 5 years.
  • Illustrated detail cards and natural observation guidance.
  • Progress and reached dates saved with the child’s care history.
  • Completed milestones included in optional iCloud and co-parent sync.

Based on the CDC’s developmental milestones, which describe things most children (75% or more) can do by each age. Lullalog’s checklist is informational, not a screening or diagnostic tool.

Shared with the people who care

Milestones and daily care, together.

Share a child profile through Apple’s CloudKit sharing flow. Co-parents can log care, mark milestones and Play & Learn ideas, and bring the same shared history back after reinstall.

  • Shared profiles use caregivers’ iCloud accounts, not a Lullalog server.
  • Local entries appear immediately while CloudKit sync catches up.
  • Matching records converge instead of being counted twice.
